Government Response: The Building Safety Act 2022 (Commencement No. 5 and Consequential Amendments) (Wales) Regulations 2024

Technical Scrutiny point 1: The Welsh Government notes the point and agrees that it would have been preferrable for the drafting to be consistent. The reference in regulation 3(j) should be a reference to “substituted paragraph 4” rather than “substituted paragraph 4(a)”. However, the Welsh Government does not believe the existing drafting will lead to confusion for the reader and it is therefore suitably clear.
